Message from the Dean

Welcome to the College of Staten Island 's Division of Science and Technology.  Our programs reflect the broad scope of science in the 21st century, with degrees and programs that can propel students to careers in the natural sciences, health sciences, engineering and technology.  With a strong focus on interdisciplinary scholarship the Division is also home to faculty who are testing the frontiers of discovery alongside student researchers.  Our curricula are challenging, while our small classes and student-centered instruction create an exciting environment where teaching and research go hand-in-hand.  With access to modern laboratory facilities and cutting-edge equipment that reflect the latest innovations, students find themselves well prepared for a rapidly-changing world in which strength in science and technology is essential for success.  Our degree programs meet the highest standards, holding national accreditation wherever possible.  Whether your goal is a challenging job in the health- or technology- related professions through an associate's degree; a bachelor's degree focused on the natural or applied sciences; application to professional programs in medicine or dentistry; master's work in biology, computer science, environmental science, neuroscience or nursing; or doctoral work in physical therapy, nursing or the natural sciences, the Division of Science and Technology can take you there.  Please explore our website to find the program that is right for you.
