The CSI Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Wrestling with a Problem?
EAP CAN HELP

The CSI Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a professional and confidential counseling service available to CSI faculty and staff to help resolve personal problems before they affect your health, family or job.

What will happen when I call?

You will set up an appointment to discuss your situation and decide upon a plan of action. Sometimes the problem can be resolved within a few visits; in other cases, you may be referred locally for additional help.

What kind of help is available?

An experienced professional can provide you with help to understand and overcome problems with stress, marital and family difficulties, alcoholism and drug abuse, depression, financial pressures, and other personal problems. No problem is too serious or simple.

How much does it cost?

There is no cost to you for services provided by the EAP. In those cases where referrals are necessary, they can often be made to prescreened professional or community programs whose charges may be covered within the limits of your health insurance.

How can I get in touch with EAP?

Call (718) 982-2392 to make an appointment. To accommodate your work schedule, you can meet with an EAP professional during your lunch break. Other times may be arranged.
