Environmental Health and Safety

Welcome to the Office of Environmental Health and Safety!

The College of Staten Island is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for all of our faculty, students and staff. To that end, the College Environmental Health and Safety Office exists solely to serve the college community through the support of the following programs;

• Regulatory compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency
• Regulatory compliance with the Public Employees Safety and Health Bureau
• Laboratory Safety
• Indoor Air Quality Investigation & Follow-up
• Mold Investigation & Remediation
• Accident Investigation
• Go Green

In all cases, the staff of the Environmental Health and Safety Office (EHS Office) will provide efficient and professional service in support of an environmentally healthy and safe campus.
