The department offers programs leading to the Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science and in Physics and participates in the University Doctoral program in Physics, Engineering, Astrophysics, and Environmental Science. The Associate's degree is offered in Engineering Science in Applied Science degree program in Electrical Engineering Technology. Courses in astronomy, geology, and integrated science are offered by the department, and faculty in the department direct the programs and research at the Astrophysical Observatory. The BS in Engineering Science is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), and the Electrical Engineering Technology program is accredited by the Technology Accrediting Commission of ABET. The interdisciplinary Master's degree program in Environmental Science is coordinated by Professor Alfred Levine.
