AST 102 Contemporary Theories of the Universe
3 hours; 3 credits
A presentation of the galaxy, atomic structure, star populations, nuclear energy, stellar evolution, galactic structure, and the universe. Field trips and/or day and evening astronomical observation sessions will be required. (science) (RLPR) NOTE: This course has a material fee.
Prerequisite: MTH 020 or an appropriate score on the CUNY Mathematics Assessment Test
