BIO 228 Botany
3 class hours, 3 laboratory hours; 4 credits
An introduction to the major structural and functional characteristics of the groups of plants that comprise the plant kingdom: bacteria, algae, fungi, mosses, ferns, gymnosperms, and angiosperms. Interrelationships of evolution, diversity, and ecology are stressed throughout the examination of all major disciplines of plant biology. NOTE: This course has a material fee.
