EDC 402 Reflection and Analysis in Student Teaching (Early Childhood) (Effective Fall 2010)

This course is designed to supplement an enhance student teaching responsibilities occurring in EDC 440. Candidates will have an opportunity to synthesize information learned throughout their program and produce and deliver meaningful, effective lessons addressing diverse learners and learning styles, as well as state and local standards. The course will also focus on assessing student learning and integrating technology into instruction. Several sessions will be devoted to New York City Licensing and New York State Certification requirements for the reporting of child abuse and maltreatment, in addition to drug, alcohol and violence prevention training.
