ENL 369 Gender and the Negotitation of Difference

A study of intersections of gender with race, class and/or sexualities, in various literary genres and national traditions. For English majors or minors concentrating in literature, this course fulfills the requirements for literature by women, American minorities, or third world writers. For linguistics, writing, and dramatic literature concentrators, it counts as an elective in the major.
Prerequisite: An ENH 200-level course or ENL 290
