Demographic, economic, and political effects on the nations of Western Europe of the intraregional variations in such fundamental geographic factors as geomatic position, climate, soils, minerals, and elevation. Emphasis on selected nations in the context of 20th-century industrial development. For Geography majors this is designated as a regional course.
