HON 301 Interdisciplinary Honors Seminar
4 hours, 4 credits
An examination of the nature and process of scholarship and research in the mulitple disciplines that comprise the spectrum of fine and applied arts and sciences - including creative arts, humanities, mathematics, social sciences, natural sciences, and technology - and their interdisciplinary connections, both subtle and profound. Students will be engaged in various stages of independent scholarly work. Through interaction with peers, students develop comunication skills and position their own research and scholarship within a broader context of human inquiry. All Verrazano students are required to complete a capstone project at CSI, and this course provides support for this endeavor.
Prerequisite: Completion of at least 45 credits and permission of the instructor
