HST 271 Modern British History: 1900 to the Present

A study of selected problems of British social and political history in the late 19th and 20th centuries. Topics generally include the decline of empire, the creation of the welfare state, and the British role in the world wars. For History majors and minors, this is designated as a modern European history course. (social science) (cont. wld.) NOTE: This course satisfies the College Option.
