NRS 110 Medical-Surgical Nursing I
3 class hours, 9 laboratory hours; 6 credits
Principles and concepts basic to the practice of nursing. Emphasis is on the maintenance and meeting of the basic needs of the adult patient. Introduces the student to alterations in human basic needs as a result of simple health problems. Clinical experience in a general hospital or long-term facility. NOTE: This course has a material fee.
Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of the Pre-Nursing sequence
