NRS 220 Family-Centered Maternity Nursing
6 class hours, 9 laboratory hours for one-half semester; 4.5 credits
Development of concepts and skills in identifying and meeting the complex needs of the expectant family. The family structure and changing roles are emphasized throughout the pregnancy and birth cycle, and special emphasis is placed on the pregnancy, birth, and neonate at risk. Laboratory experiences in clinical settings and community agencies. NOTE: This course has a material fee.
