PHL 217 Ideas and the World: 1600 to the Present

The development of philosophy from the beginning of the 17th century to the present through the study of philosophical texts. Readings will be drawn from such authors as Descartes, Hume, Kant, Marx, Mill, Nietzsche, Dostoyevsky, and Ayer. (social science) NOTE: This course satisfies the College Option.
