PHL 243 Comparative Religion

A study of the great religious systems (e.g., Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam). Challenges to the life of contemporary religions, demographic patterns, ethical stands, the role of women, ecological concern, and interfaith conflict and cooperation will be explored (cont. wld.)
