Center for Student Accessibility
Academic Advisement
All currently enrolled students registered with the Center for Student Accessibility are eligible to receive PRIORITY REGISTRATION. In order to receive this service STUDENTS MUST make an appointment to see an advisor in the Center for Student Accessibility. Students can call (718) 982-2510 to make an appointment.
Testing Accommodations
You, like many other students, may find that you need to take your tests in a non-traditional setting or format. Examples of non-traditional testing include extended time, scribing services and/or reader services. The Center for Student Accessibility (CSA) can provide these services and accommodations if you provide appropriate documentation of disability to the CSA . To facilitate making these arrangements, you can obtain Test Accommodation Request forms from the CSA or from this website. This form can then be given to your instructor, and he/she can note any additional instructions, notes, or guidelines for test taking. A form must be submitted for each test.
Note-taking Services
Some students with disabilities may be eligible for notetaker services. If you feel you may qualify, please inquire of our staff.
Personal Counseling
Counseling services are available to all CSI students in the Counseling Center in the South Administration Building (1A), Room 109. We can assist in referring students to these services.
