CUNY High Performance Computing Facility
 Account Application

Applications for allocations and accounts on the City University of New York (CUNY) high performance computing systems (HPC) are accepted from faculty members. Group accounts with sub-accounts can also be established for students, but all accounts must have a faculty member as a Principle Investigator.

Allocations of computing resources are normally made for the academic year beginning the first Monday of the third week of September through the end of the second week of September of the following year. An application may be submitted and accepted at any time during the year, but all allocations and accounts are scheduled to terminate at the end of the second week of September unless renewed.

A web-based application form is to be used to submit a request for an account and allocation. The completed application will be forwarded to the CUNY HPC Allocations Committee.  Normally, the Principal Investigator will be notified of the decision of the Committee within 30 days of submitting the application. Final approval requires the consent of the Principal Investigator’s Department Chair.
