APR 19 Film:“In the Land of the Deaf” - Documentary bringing the viewer into the world of
Deaf language and culture. Deaf people tell anecdotes about the richness of their lives.
This film is spoken in French and French sign language, subtitled in English.

APR 20 Film: “When Billy Broke His Head” – when Billy Golfus becomes disabled, he goes on
the road like “Charles Kuralt” to meet people with disabilities and the challenges they

APR 26 Film: “Sound and Fury” – documentary highlighting two members of the same family
and their views on cochlear implants for their deaf children. The film asks the question
“If you could make your deaf child hear, would you?”
