The Economic Development and Civic Prosperity (EDCP) initiatives will enhance the College of Staten Island’s position as a trusted community resource. EDCP activities exemplify our role as a civic leader by partnering with the community to address a wide array of public and private issues. A thriving, economically viable community is one that connects the campus to and engages the community.
The mission of the Economic Development and Civic Prosperity Office is to promote and enhance our local economy, and to instill the value of civic participation through college-community partnerships that address public issues, and to expand and engage the community in support of the College’s Mission, Vision, and Values consistent with the College’s Strategic Plan.
