Biography / Academic Interests
:
William "Bill" Bernhardt has taught a broad range of courses including writing on all levels from remedial to post-graduate, English as a Second Language, Reading, and Literature. He has also been a teacher-trainer in many of these academic areas in China, Brazil, France, U.K. and Vietnam. He has been active in the application of computers to the teaching of writing both in traditional courses and as an online instructor and faculty trainer.
Scholarships / Publications
:
A frequent presenter at national and international conferences on the teaching of writing and the application of computers to learning, he has published widely in conference preceedings and academic journals. He is also a book author and former co-editor of The Journal of Basic Writing (JBW).
