Biography / Academic Interests
: Professor Hendrickson is a political scientist who specializes in United States relations with Africa and the economic position of Africa in the global economy. Her interests include globalization, the political economy of development, and the historical dynamic of the role of the United States in the global economy. She is currently working on a book manuscript on historical efforts by the United States to promote foreign direct investment in Africa.
Professor Hendrickson teaches International Politics, International Political Economy, International Organizations, and US Foreign Policy. She oversees the World Affairs Internship at CSI and is the faculty advisor to the CSI (Phi Delta) chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha.
