Biography / Academic Interests
:
Dr. Niv-Solomon taught at Clark University before coming to the College of Staten Island. She teaches courses in international politics and security.
Her research focuses on potential conflict spirals and the turning points that transform them into protracted conflicts or cooperative resolutions. She is also working on a joint project designed to understand the changing conception of security.
