Biography / Academic Interests
: Harry Thorne taught as an adjunct at the College of Staten Island for nine years. He is interested in both researching and developing pedagogical practices that enable composition students to engage more readily with academic ideas. He has also published numerous essays and reviews in the fields of critical theory and contemporary poetry. Prior to coming to CSI, he completed his Master’s Degree at The University of Sussex and taught for a year at The University of Kingston in London.
