Biography / Academic Interests

Professor Schiano is a Registered Nurse, specializing in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. She has many years of experience working in this field at various institutions. As a nurse educator, Professor Schiano has taught for many years at the university level focusing on psychiatric mental-health nursing practice. She believes in continuing the commitment to nursing excellence and leadership in the workplace and in the community.
