Biography / Academic Interests

Dr. Peter Simpson is a Full Professor, and serves as a Deputy Chair and Philosophy Coordinator in the Department of Politics, Economics, and Philosophy at the College of Staten Island, CUNY. Dr. Simpson is also a Professor of Philosophy and Classics at the CUNY Graduate Center. He has taught at the Catholic University of America, Washington DC; University College, Dublin, Ireland; and Manchester Polytechnic, United Kingdom.
