Biography / Academic Interests :
Dr. Blairís work concerns creating social contexts to build self-efficacy and supportive relationships. Professor Blair began the Psychology Departmentís Mentoring Program. She is a practicing psychotherapist who did postdoctoral training in family therapy at Maimonides, Bronx State Psychiatric and Philadelphia Childrenís hospitals. She was a Clinical Supervisor for CUNYís doctoral program in clinical psychology.

Scholarship / Publications :
Professor Blairís scholarship concerns creation of community services. She has collaborated on a program that trained undergraduates to co-lead multifamily counseling groups for youth on probation and developed courses which give students opportunities to provide services and advocacy. Professor Blair created a video project to promote interracial intergenerational communication between teens and elders in Stapleton. She served on the editorial board of the Journal of Community Psychology editing a special topics issue, Women in the Community, with A. Mulvey and A.DíErcole.
