Biography / Academic Interests

Prof. Baruch Englard has an M.S. in Computer Science (CSI, 1986) and an M.B.A. in Accounting (Long Island University, 1973). He is also a Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York State.
In early 2006 he received his Rabbinical Ordination from Yeshiva University.
His teaching career spans more than 25 years, having taught at Brooklyn College from 1978 – 83, and at CSI since 1984.
In 2005 he received the CSI Dolphin Award for teaching excellence, and his name appears in the 2003 – 2004 edition of Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers.
Scholarships / Publications
:
Prof. Englard has published more than a dozen articles on accounting topics in professional journals. He is also the author of two textbooks: Intermediate Accounting I and Intermediate Accounting II, both in the Schaum’s Outline Series of McGraw Hill.
