Biography / Academic Interests

Professor Lang has held offices in the Careers and Research Methods Divisions of the Academy of Management and was a founding member of the CUNY Association of Scholars, a chapter of the National Association of Scholars. Since 1999, she has served as chair of the CUNY Association of Scholars, which has developed policy statements concerning standards, remediation, core curricula, articulation, and the CUNY Master Plan. In addition, she serves on the boards of the National Association of Scholars and New York Association of Scholars.
Scholarships / Publications

Dorothy Lang is the author of many studies of work stress and career fulfillment published in the Journal of Occupational Behavior, Work and Stress, Journal of Social Behavior and Personality, and others. For several years, her primary academic interest has been university-level curricular and institutional reform, especially at CUNY.
