Biography / Academic Interests
:
Professor Martin was Special Assistant to the Chief Accountant of The City of New York and as such helped supervise the first certified financial audit of New York City. He is both a C.P.A. and a Certified Financial Planner. Professor Martin was inducted into the national accounting honor society Beta Alpha Psi as an honorary member at New York University. He has served on the Business Department Appointments Committee and the Presidential and College Council Budget Committees for several years.
Scholarships / Publications
:
Professor Martin has had a special interest in taxation and has published several articles in national tax publications. He is also the creator of The Martin Method, a very interactive software program currently being used by many first year accounting students.
