Biography / Academic Interests

Dr. Osakue is an Assistant Professor at the College of Staten Island/CUNY. His academic interest is in monetary economics. Professor Osakue is currently working on two projects:
a. Estimating a saving function for some selected African countries
b. Assessing the impact of the use of seignorage as an instrument for balancing government budgets in developing economies.
