The
"CUNY Vietnam Projects" began
in 1997 as a partnership between the College
of Staten Island/City University of New
York and the Vietnam USA Society (VUS).
The initial projects have endeavored to
increase and facilitate understanding between
the U.S. and Vietnam through exchange primarily
in the area of Teaching English as a Second
Language and Professional development and
training under this agreement. In 1999,
an |
agreement
was signed between the College and the Hanoi University
of Foreign Studies (HUFS). The initial projects
have focused on English Language education. Currently
the CUNY Vietnam Projects are exploring the potential
to expand their activities to incorporate faculty
study tours, student programs and other forms
of exchange. If you are interested in participating
