The Office of Parking & DolphinCard Services is responsible for ensuring that every student, faculty and staff member and visitor to the college who chooses to park and/or operate a motor vehicle on the CSI campus does so in accordance with college policy. The office oversees the sale of parking decals through the vehicle registration program and the enforcement of the college’s parking policies by Public Safety and Parking & DolphinCard Services personnel through the issuance of Traffic and Parking Summonses. A Parking Information brochure (you need Adobe Acrobat to view brochure in pdf format) is distributed annually to all members of the college community.
College policy requires ALL students (visiting, Full-time, Part-time, Weekend, Continuing Education, etc) and employees who park on campus to register their vehicle with the Office of Parking & DolphinCard Services (Building 3A Room 106) and display a valid CSI Parking Decal. A “Daily Pass” is not a substitute for a required decal.
The Office of Parking & DolphinCard Services is experiencing a high volume of activity relating to the purchase of parking decals, meal plans and issuance of the new DolphinCard. In an effort to shorten lines and waiting times, we have opened a new location for purchasing parking decals:
STUDENT Parking Decals may be purchased September 9 - September 21 at the Green Dolphin Lounge Box Office located in the Campus Center. The Box Office will be open from 10am-7pm Monday-Friday and on Saturday, September 21 from 10am-2pm.
FACULTY/STAFF Parking Decals may be purchased in our office located in West Administration Building 3A Room 106 during regularly scheduled business hours.
Please note all parking regulations will be in full force and effective beginning Wednesday September 11, 2013.
The issuance of the DolphinCard, the official ID card for the College of Staten Island, is also the responsibility of the Office of Parking & DolphinCard Services.
DolphinCards are issued in the Office of Parking & DolphinCard Services, located in West Administration Building 3A Room 106. Current employees who have a valid CSI photo ID card are required to replace their current card with the updated DolphinCard. If you are a new employee, you must bring a completed New Employee memo issued from Human Resources and a photo ID as proof of identification (e.g., a driver’s license, a state-issued non-driver ID, or a passport) during regularly scheduled business hours.
All students are required to obtain a DolphinCard. A copy of the current academic year bursar bill or academic schedule, your 8 digit EMPLE ID number and a photo ID as proof of identification is required (old CSI photo ID, state identification or valid passport).
All RETURNING STUDENTS who currently do not have a new DolphinCard may pick up their new card beginning Monday, September 30 through Friday, October 25 in the Campus Center Building 1C-209 according to the following schedule:

Students with last names beginning with letters H-N 10/7/2013-10/11/2013
Students with last names beginning with letters O-T 10/15/2013-10/18/2013
Students with last names beginning with letters U-Z 10/21/2013-10/25/2013
All NEW STUDENTS who have not picked up their new DolphinCard may do so at the Office of Parking & DolphinCard Services during regularly scheduled business hours.
ALL ID CARDS OTHER THAN THE NEW DOLPHINCARD WILL BE DEACTIVATED BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 2013.
