At the College of Staten Island students are able to use their personal laptops (notebook computers) on the College's wireless network.

The Office of Information Technology provides wireless accounts.  Your wireless account is the same account that you use to log on to the computers in the computer laboratories on campus.

The College of Staten Island's Wireless Network has been upgraded. The upgrade will provide added security.  After you log on to the wireless network your device will be scanned for malicious software, including viruses and trojans.  If any malicious software is found, you are responsible for cleaning the device before you will be able to access the network.

Free anti-virus software can be obtained through the CUNY eMall on the CUNY Portal at

The College reserves the right to monitor any and all wireless activity.
This service is funded by your Student Technology Fee.
