Virtual Private Network
To ensure the integrity and privacy of personal information, CSI uses a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for its intranet and its access to CUNY Systems. This encrypts all data and uses the best available technology to guarantee security and privacy.
The College uses a software package called Proof point to quarantine unsolicited emails into personal End User Digest. Users then have the ability to delete emails or add them to a safe list.
