To protect the health and safety of our CSI community, current CUNY policy requires all students and instructors attending in person classes to be vaccinated, unless medically exempt. Moreover, students are required to get the booster shot once eligible.  Masks are now optional.

Created by the College of Staten Island/CUNY (CSI), St. John’s University/ Staten Island campus (SJU), Wagner College (WC), and four local public high schools, the 30,000 Degrees initiative has worked over the past six years to leverage the unique identities and assets of the partner anchor institutions to increase the number of college graduates with a bachelor’s degree from Staten Island by 30,000 by the year 2025; AND to build sustainable institutional practices for college access and completion that endure beyond 2025.  CSI, SJU & WC draw strength toward a common undertaking that will yield more historically underrepresented college graduates on Staten Island, contributing to a more equitable economy and democratic citizenry.
