Although the priority deadline has passed, the Office of Recruitment and Admissions will continue to accept complete applications on a space available basis.  Please note this is not on-the-spot registration/enrollment.
 

What You Will Need to Apply

To apply to CSI, all required documents must be received by the Office of Recruitment and Admissions in order to be considered for Direct Admissions. Documents may be delivered directly to our Office or mailed seperately. A decision cannot be made until all documents are received. If eligible, access will be granted to an on-line Direct Admission Application.
 

Freshman Applicants

You are considered a freshman applicant if you have not previously attended any college, university, and/or proprietary school within or outside the United States since graduating from high school or secondary school.

  • Official high school transcript indicating proof of graduation in sealed, school-issued envelope or high school equivalency test scores and diploma
  • SAT or ACT scores (required for entrance to baccalaureate programs)
  • $65.00 application fee, payable by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or check/money order (to "College of Staten Island") once access has been granted to the on-line Direct Admission Application.


Transfer Applicants

You are considered a transfer applicant if you have attended any college, university, and/or proprietary school since graduating from high school. This applies whether or not you are seeking transfer credit and/or changing a program of study.

  • Official high school transcript indicating proof of graduation in sealed, school-issued envelope or high school equivalency test scores and diploma
  • Official transcript from each college, university, and/or proprietary school that you have attended submitted in a sealed, school issued envelope
  • $70.00 application fee, payable by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or check/money order (to "College of Staten Island") once access has been granted to the on-line Direct Admission Application.

 

Students Educated Outside the United States


In order to be considered for the Spring 2019 semester applicants who have been educated outside the United States, should submit an official course-by-course evaluation of all of their academic records. We accept evaluations from the following services:

Once you receive an official evaluation, please bring the evaluation, the documents submitted to the evaluation agency and the payment for the application fee to our office in Building 2A room 103.

 

Admission Review Process

Evaluation for admission is based on an individual review of a student’s academic credentials and is subject to eligibility.  If applicable, we will consider high school average, cumulative college grade point average (GPA), college readiness for reading, writing and mathematics, and program availability.
