He will also highlight how Polish media symbolically overpowered and deprived homo sovieticus of this sociocultural community’s own agency to represent itself and how it became the basis of the right-wing populist upsurge in Polish politics. Dr. Rauszer is a cultural studies expert and anthropologist, and works at the Faculty of Education of the University of Warsaw, Poland. In his research, he focuses on the analysis of cultural resistance, popular rebellions, and cultural identity. This is a CC CLUE event.
