CSI’s Teacher Education Honors Academy Receives $1M NSF Grant

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded the College of Staten Island’s Teacher Education Honors Academy (TEHA) a grant from the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program, for a total intended amount of $1,012,325. The grant extends for five years and will help expand the TEHA program at CSI.

Summer Of Success: Two CSI Alumnae Win Grants From The Italian American Women Of Staten Island

Two CSI alumnae have each received $1,000 grants from the Italian American Women of Staten Island at the organization’s recent luncheon. Paola Tranchina Gambino ’12 and Stephany Di Gesaro ’12 teach at Wagner High School. Tranchina Gambino is also an adjunct at CSI.

The College of Staten Island is the first CUNY institution to be selected for the 2024-2026 Scratch Education Collaborative Cohort – a two-year organizational partnership program with the MIT Scratch Foundation.
