Fall 2025
Dates Days Events
August 18 Monday Last day to file for a Fall 2025 ePermit.
August 25 Monday Last day for 100% tuition refund.
August 26 Tuesday Classes begin.  
Registration for senior citizens begins.
August 30-31 Saturday-Sunday No classes scheduled.
September 1 Monday College closed.
Last day to add a course for the 15-week and the 1st and 2nd 7.5-week sessions. 
Last day to drop with a 75% refund.
Financial Aid Certification Enrollment Status Date.
September 2 Tuesday Verification of Enrollment Rosters available to faculty.
Grade of WD is assigned to students who officially drop a course.
September 8 Monday Last day to drop with a 50% refund.
September 15 Monday Census date (Form A) for fall term.
Last day to drop with a 25% refund.
Last day to drop without a grade of W.  
Last day to change or declare a major/minor to be effective for the fall term.
Verification of Enrollment Rosters due from faculty.
Last day to register for an independent study course for the fall term.  
Last day for departments to submit course substitution requests.
September 16 Tuesday Course withdrawal period begins. A grade of W is assigned to students who officially drop a class. Students are responsible for 100% of tuition for dropped courses. 
WN grades assigned.
September 22-24 Monday-Wednesday No classes scheduled.
September 24 Wednesday WA grades assigned for MMR immunization non-compliance.
October 1 Wednesday Last day to file for January 2026 graduation.

October 13 Monday College closed.
October 14 Tuesday Classes follow Monday schedule.

October 29 Wednesday Academic progress report functions close.
November 5 Wednesday Last day to select pass/fail grading option for eligible courses.
60% date for the fall term.
November 6 Thursday Course withdrawal period ends: last day to drop a course with a grade of W for the fall term (15-week regular session).
November 27-30 Thursday-Sunday College closed.
December 15 Monday Last day to remove INC grades from the Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 semesters.
Last day of regularly-scheduled classes.
December 16 Tuesday Grade rosters for Fall 2025 open in CUNYfirst.
December 16-22 Tuesday-Monday

Final Examination Period

  • Tuesday, December 16: Final exams for Tuesday/Thursday classes and all Tuesday-only classes; departmental final exams for CHM.
  • Wednesday, December 17: Final exams for Monday/Wednesday classes and all Wednesday-only classes.
  • Thursday, December 18: Final exams for Tuesday/Thursday classes and all Thursday-only classes; departmental final exams for MTH given during Club Hours only (2:30-4:25pm).
  • Friday, December 19: Final exams for all Friday-only classes; departmental final exams for BIO.
  • Saturday, December 20: Final exams for all Saturday-only classes.
  • Sunday, December 21: Final exams for all Sunday-only classes.
  • Monday, December 22: Final exams for Monday/Wednesday classes and all Monday-only classes; departmental final exams for CSC 126.

Regular final exams for all synchronous classes (which include time patterns in CUNYfirst) are to be given during their regularly scheduled meeting time, following the schedule above. Since asynchronous classes do not have scheduled meeting times, final exam arrangements for non-departmental exams may vary.
December 22 Monday End of Fall 2025 term.
December 24-25 Wednesday-Thursday College closed.
December 26 Friday Grade rosters for Fall 2025 close tonight at 11:59pm.
December 31-January 1 Wednesday-Thursday College closed.
January 1, 2026 Thursday Last day to request freshman forgiveness for earned F grades: Fall 2025 must be first term of attendance as a matriculated freshman to be eligible.
