August 21 Friday Last day to file for a Fall 2026 ePermit.
August 27 Thursday Last day for 100% tuition refund.
August 28 Friday Classes begin.  
Registration for senior citizens begins.
September 3 Thursday Last day to add a course for the 15-week and the 1st and 2nd 7.5-week sessions. 
Last day to drop with a 75% refund.
Financial Aid Certification Enrollment Status Date.
September 4 Friday Verification of Enrollment Rosters available to faculty.
Grade of WD is assigned to students who officially drop a course.
September 7 Monday College closed.
September 10 Thursday Last day to drop with a 50% refund.
September 11-13 Friday-Sunday No classes scheduled.
September 15 Tuesday Last day to submit an independent study course request to the Registrar's Office for the fall term.  
September 17 Thursday Census date (Form A) for fall term.
Last day to drop with a 25% refund.
Last day to drop without a grade of W.  
Last day to change or declare a major/minor to be effective for the fall term.
Verification of Enrollment Rosters due from faculty.
Last day for departments to submit course substitution requests.
September 18 Friday Course withdrawal period begins. A grade of W is assigned to students who officially drop a class. Students are responsible for 100% of tuition for dropped courses. 
WN grades assigned.
September 21 Monday No classes scheduled.
September 27 Sunday WA grades assigned for MMR immunization non-compliance.
October 1 Thursday Last day to file for January 2027 graduation.
October 7 Wednesday Academic progress report functions open for faculty use.
October 12 Monday College closed.
October 13 Tuesday Classes follow Monday schedule.
October 28 Wednesday Academic progress report functions close.
November 5 Thursday Last day to select pass/fail grading option for eligible courses.
60% date for the fall term.
November 6 Friday Course withdrawal period ends: last day to drop a course with a grade of W for the fall term (15-week regular session).
November 8 Sunday No classes scheduled.
November 25 Wednesday No classes scheduled.
November 26-27 Thursday-Friday College closed.
November 28 Saturday No classes scheduled.
December 14 Monday Last day to remove INC grades from the Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 semesters.
Last day of regularly-scheduled classes.
December 15 Tuesday Grade rosters for Fall 2026 open in CUNYfirst.

Final Examination Period.

  • Tuesday, December 15: Final exams for Tuesday/Thursday classes and all Tuesday-only classes; departmental final exams for MTH given during Club Hours only (2:30-4:25pm).
  • Wednesday, December 16: Final exams for Monday/Wednesday classes and all Wednesday-only classes.
  • Thursday, December 17: Final exams for Tuesday/Thursday classes and all Thursday-only classes; departmental final exams for CHM.
  • Friday, December 18: Final exams for all Friday-only classes; departmental final exams for BIO.
  • Saturday, December 19: Final exams for all Saturday-only classes.
  • Sunday, December 20: Final exams for all Sunday-only classes.
  • Monday, December 21: Final exams for Monday/Wednesday classes and all Monday-only classes. 

Regular final exams for all synchronous classes (which include time patterns in CUNYfirst) are to be given during their regularly scheduled meeting time, following the schedule above. Since asynchronous classes do not have scheduled meeting times, final exam arrangements for non-departmental exams may vary.

December 24-25 Thursday-Friday College closed.
December 28 Monday Grade rosters for Fall 2026 close tonight at 11:59pm.
December 31-January 1 Thursday-Friday College closed.
January 1, 2027 Friday Last day to request freshman forgiveness for earned F grades: Fall 2026 must be first term of attendance as a matriculated freshman to be eligible.
