Become a CSI Alumni Ambassador and help make a difference for the next generation of CSI graduates.

Welcome to the CSI Alumni Ambassador Program!

The CSI Alumni Ambassador Program is a volunteer alumni program that seeks to connect engaged CSI alumni with prospective students and their families. Members of the CSI Alumni Ambassador Program may be involved in the recruitment and admissions process in different ways, including representing CSI in local, regional, out-of-state, or international high school college fairs; attending open houses or admitted student events; referring prospective students; and/or sharing their own student experience at CSI.

As a CSI alum, you are in the best position to support your alma mater’s mission of helping its students fulfill their creative and educational aspirations through competitive and rigorous undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.

Ways to Participate:

Attend College Fairs

Every year, high schools, colleges, and other organizations host college nights. College representatives meet with prospective students and their parents. They provide basic information about the school they represent, distribute materials, and collect student information. We identify events based on your location and your availability. We provide you with training and materials that you need. We also follow up with prospective students and contacts. Your attendance at these events gives us an invaluable opportunity to reach students we otherwise wouldn’t be able to contact.

Attend Local Open Houses and Admitted Students Events

Prospective, admitted students and their families are invited to attend open houses and admitted student events. This allows them an opportunity to visit the campus, meet with faculty and administrators, and learn about special programs and their next steps for enrollment.

Refer Prospective Students

Can you think of a person who might be a candidate for our honors programs, such as Macaulay Honors, Verrazano School, Teacher Education Honors Academy, OR one of our Opportunity and Diversity programs, such as ASAP, SEEK, or BMI? The College of Staten Island offers diverse programming from Associate to Doctoral degree programs. We appreciate your referral and will contact you directly to provide personalized assistance.

Alumni Testimonials

We will love to hear from you regarding your experience as a student at CSI. We might share those testimonials in our communications or use them in our Website.
