Judy Xiao joined CSI in 2002.  Before that, she had worked at other libraries and universities at various capacities. She is currently coordinator of periodicals services at CSI library.  Her research interests include information literacy instruction with technology, information literacy and librarian-faculty collaboration, and comparative study of academic libraries in China and the United States.

Scholarship / Publications

Prof. Xiao has written several articles on information literacy instruction for students in nursing, education and liberal arts.  Her articles were published in journals including Academic Exchange Quarterly, Public Services Quarterly, and Journal of Multicultural Nursing and Health.  Judy is currently doing a comparative study of information literacy education at Tsinghua University, China and MIT, USA.
