It includes decarbonization action plans that will reduce carbon emissions in many state facilities.

For the 2023-2024 budget, NYPA was authorized to develop decarbonization action plans for 15 of the highest-emitting State facilities – three of them are CUNY
campuses (Hunter, Brooklyn, City College). We want CSI to become part of this program as well – let’s review what we are doing at CSI and on Staten Island and then create
proposals of what else we want to see on our campus to make it more sustainable.
