The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Dr. Chris Stone (Hunter College) and Poet and Activist Dania Rajendra, moderated by Jean Halley, Professor of Sociology, College of Staten Island and The Graduate Center.
Chris Stone has been teaching Arabic language and literature at Hunter College since 2005 and has lived extensively in Yemen, Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon. He is part of a collective of faculty and students at Hunter College who regularly screen films from and about Palestine. Dania Rajendra was the founding director of the Athena coalition and has served on the boards of the International Labor Communications Association, Political Research Associates, and Jews for Racial and Economic Justice.
