What is Workday?

CUNYWork, a new cloud-based system that provides an enterprise-driven architecture that supports the functional and technical requirements of both HCM and Finance components. It will bring together Human Resources and Finance functions into one simple platform, is scheduled to be implemented across CUNY in 2027. As we enter the Configuration Review phase, that kicked off on September 22, 2025 and continues through November 20, 2025, teams across CUNY will play a key role in validating system configurations and ensuring alignment with operational needs.
