Queer Lecture Series: Queer Zines in the Academy

The LGBTQ Resource Center invites the campus community to an exciting lecture series celebrating our LGBTQ+ faculty and staff! Refreshments will be served. CC CLUE

Zines are DIY print publications that people make and distribute themselves. This talk will explore the history of zine-making, will highlight some queer zines (both contemporary and historical), and discuss how libraries collect identity-based zines today. Prof Adkison will bring some zines to the lecture to pass around. Let’s have fun and learn about queer zines!
