Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson

BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON
Written by Alex Timbers
Music & Lyrics by Michael Friedman
Directed by Lee Papa

An exhilarating and raucous look at one of this country’s founding rock stars. Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson reinvents the life of our seventh president, following his journey from childhood on the wild frontier to his controversial reign in the White House.

With outrageous comedy, anarchic theatricality, and an infectious rock score, this wildly entertaining musical follows Jackson’s rise from military strategist to populist rabble-rouser to President of the United States. Along the way, he takes on the Founding Fathers, meets his wife, Rachel, and rocks like no political figure before him.
