In Memoriam
Professor William Schreiber was one of the first physics professors at the College of Staten Island, and taught hundreds of classes and thousands of students over more than 50 years at CSI. He was a theoretical particle physicist, conducting research primarily on the radiative processes associated with interactions between subatomic particles. Dr. Schreiber passed away in June 2025 after a brief illness.
