Digital Publishing Platforms available at CUNY – Manifold, Pressbooks, and CUNY Academic Commons (in person with Zoom option)

Manifold is being used at CUNY to create beautiful, dynamic, multimedia-rich digital projects that can include text, images, audio, video, and social annotation. During our session, we will explore custom versions of public-domain texts, textbooks, multi-text course readers, class projects, journals, and more. Pressbooks is a digital WordPress-based platform for open publishing with various forms of media and interactive components. It is available to all students, faculty, and staff for free. CUNY Academic Commons is an open platform created and hosted by CUNY that supports groups, Websites, and connected groups and sites.
