ELIGIBILITY FOR FALL 2020
1. Students who are enrolled in courses offered by the College of Staten Island for the Fall 2020 semester and who do not already have a loaned device from the Spring 2020 semester.
DISTRIBUTION FOR FALL 2020
1. Devices will be delivered to the CSI (2800 Victory Blvd.) Loading Dock and stored in Building 1M (Facilities Management and Operational Services) in a secure location. Operational Services will confirm delivery against a bill of laden.
2. The Office of Student Success sends a communication to students with instructions on how to submit a request for a loaner device for the Fall 2020 semester through the CSI Website .
3. All submissions to be reviewed by the Office of Student Success in consultation with OIT to confirm eligibility.
4. List of approved students to be loaned devices to be provided to Operational Services by the Office of Student Success.
5. Operational Services assigns devices by EMPLID and packages for shipment.
6. Devices are shipped by UPS ground shipping to the mailing address provided in the submission.
7. Delivery of the loaned devices is scheduled to begin Wednesday, August 26 – the first day of classes for the Fall 2020 semester.
8. Students are sent a communication notifying them that their request has been approved and processed. The UPS tracking number and online resources/remote learning is included in the communication.
